Ian's Transformation
Ian's Transformation Journey
Interview with Ian
Can you describe what led you to explore bioidentical hormone therapy?
I had never really considered hormone levels for myself or how I feel and operate on a day to day basis. Turned out I just didn't know what I didn't know until Amie asked me some questions about how I feel and had my levels checked, and it turned out I was below the minimum range for testosterone.
What specific symptoms or issues were you experiencing before starting bioidentical hormone therapy?
Lack of motivation, especially in the morning. I would feel depressed sometimes and had a general lack of focus and discipline.
How did you first learn about bioidentical hormone therapy, and what made you decide it was the right choice for you?
From that first conversation with Amie, up until getting tested and getting right into treatment.
Can you share any noticeable improvements or changes you've experienced since starting bioidentical hormone therapy?
I wake up and get out of bed to start my day around 6:30AM without any challenges or lethargy. When I have a task in front of me I feel compelled to get it done. I've had a much better sense of discipline and my hobbies have shifted from consuming passive entertainment to more fitness related physical activities. I lift weights 4-5 times a week and have lost 70 pounds from my heaviest (I'm now right at 200 lbs at 5'9") and I have a lot of muscle to show for it. I'm honestly in the best shape of my life and I'm feeling very happy, strong and clear all the time now.
Were there any challenges or side effects you encountered while on bioidentical hormone therapy, and how did you address them?
I've been working with Amie to optimize my levels as it seems like small changes can still lead to big differences, but that's been improving with time.
How has bioidentical hormone therapy impacted your daily life, mood, and overall well-being?
Everything is better in every way you could think of.
Did you have any concerns or reservations before starting bioidentical hormone therapy, and if so, how were they addressed?
Nothing major. Just trying to get my levels dialed in at this point.
How do you incorporate bioidentical hormone therapy into your overall health and wellness routine?
I work out, I eat right, I stay active, I engage with my kids, my wife and my two high maintenance dogs.
Have you made any lifestyle changes in conjunction with bioidentical hormone therapy to further enhance your well-being?
Lifting, walking, eating better, etc. I'm also able to setup and stick to routines better than before and am currently focused on setting budgets and strategies for hitting financial goals
What advice would you give to others who are considering bioidentical hormone therapy or exploring treatment options for similar symptoms?
Get blood work, see where you are at, if you need treatment don't wait, and really pay attention to how you feel along the way. Stay in touch with Amie and she will guide you!
